“Kin Ya See That Sun” Single Release Day
Hi Everyone:
I'm excited to announce that today, August 25th, is the single release day of the title track from my upcoming album release Kin Ya See That Sun.
Maggie and I wrote the song "Kin Ya See That Sun" when Maggie was thirteen and I was twelve. Maggie wrote the lyrics and I wrote the music. The song was recorded live in 2000 during a tour that we did that included songs from our first album "Seductive Reasoning" as well others. The single is now available on digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and others.
The song is part of an upcoming album entitled Kin Ya See That Sun containing live recordings of me and Maggie doing arrangements of songs we did when we were teenagers traveling around the country to play on the college coffee house circuit. The October 21st release is a full-length digital album as well as a book with lyrics, photographs, drawings and recollections from various people who remember us from way back then. Anyone who purchases the book will get a free digital download of the audio album.
